During your appointment, our dental hygienist team will carefully examine your mouth and teeth taking into consideration any issues that are visible. This may include inflammation, bleeding, swelling and any presence of plaque. Airflow is an advanced cleaning and polishing system designed to transform your dental hygiene treatment. Airflow is a highly effective and gentle way of cleaning your teeth and gums and will leave your mouth feeling fresh, clean and healthy.
Dental plaque is made up of a biofilm of harmful bacteria which grows and matures on the surfaces of teeth and gums over time. This innovative system allows us to gently clean teeth using a combination of soft antibacterial polishing powder, warm water and air to remove the bacteria in the mouth that is the cause of tooth decay and gum disease.
