Invisalign

Smiles communicate without words but say so much.

Yet, if your teeth are out of place, you can feel out of place. If you feel like this, you’ll hide your smile, which can harm your confidence.

So many people have problems with the alignment of their teeth. You’re not alone if your smile is overcrowded, gappy, or crooked. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Invisalign is a subtle way to correct the position of your teeth and give you a smile you’ll love.

Why Straighten Your Teeth?

The position of your teeth may leave you feeling down in the mouth. While fixing your smile’s appearance might be your primary motivation, there’s more to Invisalign than the cosmetic benefits.

Aligning your teeth helps reduce the risk of tooth decay. Overcrowding and gaps can make cleaning your teeth difficult, and bacteria can get trapped in areas your brush doesn’t reach.

The position of your teeth can also put a strain on your jaw. Over time, you might develop pain around your jaw joints which can spread to your neck, shoulders, face, and head.

What Is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a popular clear aligner system used worldwide. The removable, transparent aligners are comfortable, lightweight, and effective at treating many orthodontic issues.

Using Invisalign, we can treat the following:

Invisalign Treatment Explained

With Invisalign, you’ll know from the outset how your smile will look following your treatment. We use the latest digital technology to take scans of your teeth and jaws and plan out every step of your specific Invisalign journey. Once our software has calculated your treatment process, we can show you an accurate prediction of the future of your smile.

If you decide that Invisalign is right for you, the lab will make up your aligners, and you can start treatment.

Treatment lengths vary depending on the extent of your alignment issues. Some people will wear their aligners for as few as six months, although it more commonly takes 12-18 months.

Once you get your first set of aligners, wear them as much as possible. Ideally, you should only take them out when eating, drinking, or brushing your teeth. Your aligners will be perfectly comfortable, so you’ll barely notice you’re wearing them—even when you’re sleeping.

When you brush your teeth, clean your aligner too. This is easy to do and is vital for keeping your teeth healthy.

We’ll give you the next aligner in the series every couple of weeks. Wear your aligners in order you as this gives the best results.

After a few months, you’ll see noticeable changes in your smile. Once your treatment ends, we will provide you with night time retainers to hold your new smile.

It’s never too late to straighten your teeth.

But if you’re worried about feeling self-conscious during your treatment, Invisalign is so discreet people will barely notice you’re wearing an aligner.

Because Invisalign aligners are removable, you can take them out at mealtimes. You can eat what you like without worrying about anything getting stuck.

The smooth plastic in each aligner is comfortable and lightweight, making wearing them effortless.

Of course, the real reason that Invisalign is so popular is that it delivers. The results are a smile that you’ll feel great about sharing with the world.

Really happy with the service provided, special thank you to Nina, who was really patient with me (I am a very nervous customer). This is not the first time I attend Hale Dental, considering it is quite far from where I live, I will still be using their services. Highly recommend.”

Shirley Crompton
“Never previously used but was put in contact via my dentist due to a problematic implant that was unable to be fixed. Despite being the week before Christmas, they fitted me in at very short notice, everyone was extremely pleasant and professional, from Megan who called to arrange the appointment and welcomed me on site to Richard, the implantologist who explained everything clearly and succinctly. The icing on the cake was that he solved my problem despite the implant system being one he had never encountered previously. Delighted to recommend to any prospective clients. The surgery is very clean, professional and welcoming.”
Tony Wood
“Going to the dentist can be a stressful experience, but every time I go to Hale Dental it’s a dream! Everyone is so lovely and inviting that it makes the experience as pleasant as it can be! Highly recommended!”

“Nothing but praises for the professionals at Hale Dental Clinic. My case was a bit complicated – had to get dental implants. The thought of it sent shivers down my spine. But the team, my goodness, they made the whole experience practically painless. From the first consultation to the aftercare, everything was just spot-on. They took their time to explain every step, answering all my questions, putting my fears to rest. The environment was calming, and the staff, incredibly welcoming. For anyone who’s been putting off getting their dental issues sorted due to fear, Hale Dental Clinic is the place to go.”
Rasla Mero
“Once I had made my decision to have a large tooth from the back of my mouth removed (after speaking to 2 consultants at the practice to get all the options clear in my mind), my appointment was quickly made and even though I was quite nervous Richard was so kind and patient with me. It was quite a difficult extraction (but absolutely no pain) and I expected to be sore and swollen the next day – but to my surprise all was fine. I can highly recommend Hale Dental and especially Richard.”
Wendy Derbyshire
“I’ve been going to see Richard and the team for several years at Hale Dental. The whole team are super professional and make you feel comfortable the minute you walk in, with a comfortable lounge area and drinks facilities. This is a practice that’s ahead of the game with technology, its always appealed to me to know that you are getting the best service available. Thank you to all the team for everything you do.”
