Kavo OP 3D Pro CT Scanner
We use the Kavo Orthopantomograph OP 3D Pro panoramic and cone beam system, for more complex procedures such as implants or impacted teeth, when a CT scan of the jaw is an essential step for early assessment.
Using 3D scanning technology gives us an insight into:
- Bone density – including quality and quantity of bone for implants
- Airway viability – to avoid complications during surgery
- Jaw mobility – to help correct locking or clicking jaws
- Nerve positioning – to plan safer procedures and avoid damage

The scans produced are more precise and accurate than conventional impressions so we can provide the best result possible with your dental restoration.
The ability to show patients their own unique dental makeup means everyone receives a highly personal dental consultation. Patients can ask much more specific questions about treatment when they can easily see the position of each individual tooth. This allows our dentists to ensure all concerns are addressed and the dental treatment plan explained, in detail, to all our patients. Dental Microscope
The high powered magnification of the microscope allows for pristine and perfect dental work.
Enhanced magnification can improve in the accuracy of tooth preparations and margins, allowing for more conservative treatments and can be kinder and gentler to adjacent teeth & restorations as well as the supporting soft tissues.
We routinely use the Dental Microscope adding to the state of the art equipment used in all of our dental services.
The microscope delivers brilliant optics with sharp, crystal-clear images and fine focus in high resolution detail in natural colours (apochromatic optics) for the techs among you!
The high-contrast colour temperature of the LED lighting strongly resembles daylight. In addition, the even lighting of the field of vision makes work less fatiguing. Further advantages are the long durability of some 50,000 hours and the low electricity consumption. The LED lighting is noiseless and generates only minimum heat.
The microscope manufacturers have placed great emphasis on the ergonomics since dentists often complain about neck pain and backache. It ensures our dentists are always seated comfortably in an ergonomic upright position and hence are so much more relaxed whilst using this technology.

At Hale Dental & Implant Clinic, we now have the cutting-edge SprintRay 3D digital printer, allowing us to create our own custom implant surgical guides.
This impressive equipment can 3D print advanced models and manufacture highly accurate crown and bridge models, surgical guides, castable and pressable restorations, as well as long-term, biocompatible dental products like splints, retainers, dentures, nightguards, whitening trays, prototypes, and anaesthetic wax ups.
The printer precisely identifies the angles of your mouth and the position of your existing teeth. This revolutionary technology ensures that our surgical guides can be printed immediately to place the dental implant with unparalleled accuracy, making the entire procedure smoother and increasing the long-term success of your dental implants.
