The Hale Dental Hygiene team, Nina Ainsworth, Sarah Townsend and Diane Hunter are very excited to now be able to offer to all of our patients the option to add an EMS Airflow / Perioflow polish to your routine dental hygiene appointment.
Airflow is a professional tooth cleaning treatment that delivers a beautiful smile and helps you maintain healthy teeth and gums. It works by removing harmful plaque / biofilm that builds up daily on your teeth and gums. It is an excellent way to prevent gum disease (periodontitis) and tooth decay, when used along side your excellent home care routine.
Professional teeth cleaning using airflow/perioflow is different to traditional hygiene cleaning methods, the treatment is painless and gentle on the tooth surface.
Airflow / Perioflow is versatile and can be used in different ways. We recommend this as the gold standard of care for cleaning around implants to decontaminate the surface of the implant, to prevent inflammation or early infection.
It can also be used around orthodontic appliances, for cosmetic stain removal, to help keep your composite bonding or veneers free from staining and looking their best for longer.
Perioflow is also proven to be one of the most effective methods to help our patients with stable periodontal disease maintain an excellent level of plaque control around those delicate or sensitive areas where the gum may have receded.
This can be added to your dental hygiene appointment for an additional fee of £25.

I saw from the final scan that it was not the simplest case, because of the need to avoid the sinuses, but you would never know from the result. You have such solid experience Richard and invest in the very best equipment to deliver the best possible outcomes. The tooth that Sophie fitted is absolutely perfect. Louise explained the process so clearly and helpfully throughout and was always available to clarify anything I needed to check.

“Once I had made my decision to have a large tooth from the back of my mouth removed (after speaking to 2 consultants at the practice to get all the options clear in my mind), my appointment was quickly made and even though I was quite nervous Richard was so kind and patient with me. It was quite a difficult extraction (but absolutely no pain) and I expected to be sore and swollen the next day – but to my surprise all was fine.
